A hidden gem situated near the heart of the capital city of Lusaka, The Misty Jazz Restaurant and Cafe, is an upmarket restaurant which boasts premier dinning coupled with live jazz performances in a cozy, lavishly decorated, beautifully furnished setting.
Kiki has been performing at The Misty since 2013, and was one of the local opening acts at the Stanbic Misty Jazz Festival in 2014 & 2015, opening for international acts such us Hugh Masekele, Oliver Mtukudzi, Mi Casa and Earl Klugh. Look out for future live events held here by Kiki and other local and International talent.
An initiative of Mara Foundation, Mara Group’s social enterprise, Mara Mentor is an online platform and mobile application that enables ambitious entrepreneurs to connect with peers and business leaders. Mara Mentor was created to empower youth and women in their business endeavours, recognising that they are the driving force behind global growth and future prosperity.
Kiki is honoured to be selected as a mentor on this program and looks forward to using this platform to encourage local youths to work towards their aspirations in the Zambian music industry.
The Fly5 campaign was created to actively promote Zambian culture, tradition, tourism and lifestyle through music. After the inaugural which was launched in 2013, Proflight (Zambian airline) relaunched ‘Fly5 Reloaded’ in 2015 with another group of highly talented artists which included: Chef 187, Kanji, James Sakala, Cleo ‘Ice Queen’ & Kiki.
This group is behind the powerful collaborations ‘Zambian Skies (Kwa Hae)’ and ‘Feel the love’ produced by Mag44 which got extensive radio airplay on local radio stations.
